This article covers the main haircut trends and what to ask your barber in Almere. The biggest barber trend of 2026 is softer fades with more natural texture on top. Sharp skin fades remain popular, but demand is shifting toward mid and low tapers combined with longer, structured tops. Below are the cuts most requested at barbershops this year, and what you can consider yourself. ## Which men's haircut is popular in 2026? The five most requested cuts in 2026: - **Low taper with textured top**: subtle transition low on the head, 4 to 8 cm on top with natural movement. - **Mid fade with crop**: mid-height fade, short structured top with a fringe. - **Modern mullet**: short in the front and top, longer at the neck, mostly among younger clients in the Netherlands. - **Curtains or middle-parted look**: longer top parted in the middle, inspired by the 90s. - **Buzz cut with beard line**: uniformly short hair combined with a sharp beard shape.
